Higher Power Nutrition was founded in Idaho in the 1990s. The supplement company was formed by bodybuilders - who also own bodybuilding.com - who were tired of paying exorbitant prices for what they believed to be inferior products. Products include whey protein powders, fat burners, vitamin and mineral supplements, muscle builders and energy boosters.
This product is designed to be fast-acting to provide a surge of energy for a more intense workout. It is also formulated to increase alertness and delay muscle fatigue. Each capsule contains 200 milligrams of caffeine to help increase energy.
Take one to two capsules every three or four hours. Do not exceed six capsules per day. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding and children younger than 12 years old should not take Caffeine. Individuals with medical conditions and those taking medications should consult a physician before using this product. This supplement contains as much caffeine as one cup of coffee and other products that contain caffeine should be avoided or consumed in limited amounts. This product may cause sleeplessness, nervousness or irritability.

Higher Power Nutrition was one of several supplement companies that received a warning letter from the FDA in 2003 for marketing products that contained the banned ingredient ephedra. The companies were ordered to cease production of supplements that contained ephedra.
