NOW Foods was founded in 1968 by Elwood Richard, a physical chemist and owner of a health food store. The company wanted to be able to provide quality nutritional supplements to consumers at affordable prices. NOW Foods manufactures dozens of supplements including vitamins and minerals, muscle builders and protein products. The company has received a good manufacturing practices certification from the National Nutritional Foods Association.
This ephedra-free energy supplement contains natural ingredients, including green tea and guarana, to provide the body with an extra boost of energy. This product is free of sugar, starch, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, egg, milk, shellfish or preservatives. NOW Foods boasts spending more money annually on quality assurance than it does on the marketing and promotion of its products. At the same time it's pressing for more relaxed legislation over dietary supplements.
