Straight Up Facts

CellMass is a creatine supplement designed to accelerate recovery, promote mass gains and improve performance. According to BSN, it reloads muscle cells with creatine, phosphocreatine, glutamine, phosphates, electrolytes and water. CellMass contains proprietary formulas (though not all BSN's), including Cinnulin-PF for greater insulin sensitivity and body fat reduction, and the key ingredient, a creatine compound called CEM3. BSN claims that their "esterified" creatine formulation eliminates bloating and the need for loading and cycling.BSN recommends stacking CellMass with two of their other products, Nitrix and N.O. Xplode - that's a pretty expensive combination! The difference that BSN claims for CellMass is in the CEM3 formula - it is supposed to be acid resistant (to prevent your stomach from turning the creatine into the ineffective and side effect-inducing creatinine), and absorbed into the bloodstream more quickly.

Directions

As a dietary supplement, mix 1 scoop of CellMass with 4 to 6 ounces of cold water (or any beverage of your choice) and drink on an empty stomach. On training days, take immediately after working out and 6 to 8 hours before or after. On non-training days, take when you get up and again 6 to 8 hours later.

Straight Up Review

The majority of fitness buffs who've reviewed CellMass have been impressed with the results. But at the same time, many of them are taking it stacked with N.O. Xplode and another product such as Nitrix, Syntha-6 or Thermonex, so it's hard to say if it's the CellMass that's responsible for the gains, sought-after pump and increased recovery. Some claimed CellMass didn't really provide any additional results that their other supplements weren't already providing. A few reviewers experienced unpleasant effects while on CellMass, including "creatine headaches", puffiness, bloating, cramps, diarrhea and vomiting. There seems to have been a mix-up with scoop sizes in the containers at one point, so it's possible these people were taking servings larger than the recommended dose.
