Profile

MLO was founded in the 1960s by food chemist and bodybuilder Millard Williamson, whose friends were looking for an effective protein bar to help them train. Soon, local shops and fitness facilities were looking for his bars, and Williamson's business took off. In 1992, MLO developed its own brand of soy protein, GeniSoy, which has remained popular in the health industry. Aside from sports-nutrition products sold under the MLO brand, GeniSoy manufactures soy chips, bars, shakes and trail mix.

Straight Up Review

With all that protein, as well as creatine and vitamins and minerals, this is a great bar for bulking up. Unfortunately, with 6 grams of saturated fat and 28 grams of sugar, it is not the right supplement for anyone looking to achieve fat loss. On the positive side, it tastes great and does enhance a workout. It's not really recommendable for regular use, though.
