Short for "Scientific Fitness," SciFit's products are known for potency and quality. They offer a variety of products for everyone from the hardcore bodybuilder to the weekend warrior. These include amino acids, diet and weight loss products, creatines, Muscle Builder, vitamins and minerals, proteins and low-carb products.
Kre-Alkalyn is a patented creatine formula that claims to offer ten times the potency of pure creatine monohydrate supplements - for example, 1g of Kre-Alkalyn is equivalent to 10g of regular creatine. The difference is in the absorption rate; Kre-Alkalyn is pH buffered, which apparently keeps the creatine from converting to creatinine. This helps the supplement reach your muscle cells at nearly full strength. Because it's buffered, Kre-Alkalyn works without sugar or dextrose, doesn't require a loading phase and doesn't cause bloating. It promises improvements in strength, endurance and muscle volume.Creatine in its normal state is not stable. When it is mixed with liquid it begins to degrade into creatinine - a waste product, not muscle fuel. It has been stated that creatine with a pH of 12 remains stable, even in liquid. Kre-Alkalyn is a few years old, and when SciFit first began to market it many people were skeptical. Although there are still skeptics out there, some people (particularly those taking the Kre-Alkalyn 1500 capsules) have come around and consider this creatine supplement to be equal to or better than other creatine formulas.
Take 1g to 2g of Kre-Alkalyn powder or 1 to 2 capsules twice a day - once in the morning and once before working out.

Kre-Alkalyn offers an alternative to large dosages, stomach upset, water retention and loading, and reviews tend to back that promise up - the consensus is good results without the side effects, at an affordable price. Not everyone was impressed by the product, however. Reviewers have complained of improvements in strength but not size, seeing no noticeable improvements at all and even experiencing acne breakouts while taking Kre-Alkalyn.
