A Japanese company with worldwide reach, Ajinomoto specializes in amino acids - they've been doing it for 90 years and command close to 60 percent of the global amino acid market. Ajinomoto has a wide range of other interests as well, including specialty chemicals animal nutrition, frozen food and sweeteners (aspartame). Amino Vital is the company's sports performance line, offering amino acid supplements in shakes, ready-to-drink formulas, Fit bars and Fast Charge powder or caplets.
Amino Vital Pro is one of Ajinomoto's newest products. They recommend this supplement for replenishing electrolytes and delivering additional amino acid and carbohydrate energy, for longer, higher intensity workouts and increased performance. It delivers 3600 mg of amino acids per serving - which includes a variety of branch chain amino acids as well as arginine to keep you focused and energized during your workout and to help rebuild your muscles after training.
Mix Amino Vital with 20 fluid ounces of water and shake in a squeeze bottle. Begin drinking a half hour before exercising and continue during and after your workout.

Gram for gram, Amino Vital Pro has a high amount of amino acid content - a proprietary blend that offers more bang than its standard Amino Vital mix. However, with only five amino acids on the ingredient list, it doesn't offer the diversity of some of the other blends on the market (although it may offer more milligrams of amino acids overall). Amino Vital Pro mix is also more expensive per serving than a lot of other amino acid supplements, and surprisingly contains both sugar and aspartame. Because it's a new product and interest is just starting to catch on, the benefits of Amino Vital Pro have yet to be officially proven. However, the feedback to this point seems to indicate that the product provides a substantial amount of energy and aids in recovery.
