Animal Cuts is manufactured by Universal Nutrition, a New Jersey-based company that sells sports nutrition supplements in the United States and around the globe. Universal Nutrition claims that quality "is the driving force" of the company - however in 2003, Consumer Lab tested the company's Creatine Chews and found that they contained less than 90 percent of the claimed creatine.
Animal Cuts is a thermogenic product that claims to reduce body fat and water without disturbing lean muscle mass. Its primary use is in preparation for bodybuilding competitions, but it is also recommended for bodybuilders who want to shed fat and get "stacked" quick.
Take two packs of Animal Cuts each day for three weeks, on both training and non-training days.
Contains synephrine, octopamine, tyramine, epigallocatechin gallate, L-theanine, PEA, choline citrate, betaine HCI, inositol monophosphate, guarana, L-carnitine, dandelion extract, uva ursi extract, guggel, soy isoflavones, alpha lipoic acid, chromium polynicotinate, chromium picolinate, phosphate, inosine, phosphatidylcholine, St. John's Wort, L-tyrosine, hydroxycitric acid, grapefruit extract, white willow, phenyalanine and ginger root extract.
In 2003 the FDA issued a warning letter to Universal Nutrition, stating they had provided misleading information about a number of products, including Animal Cuts. Specifically, they referred to the claims that the product gave "professional results for bodybuilding competitions" and that "Animal Cuts is guaranteed to address all your…definintion needs." The FDA did not believe the claims were substantiated.

For the most part, Animal Cuts has received favorable reviews. The majority of consumers who reviewed the product achieved results consistent with the label, without the side effects of some other "cutting" products. A few consumers found that Animal Cuts did not provide the energy boost they were hoping for, and some did not think the ephedra-free product was very effective. Most reviewers who followed a diet and exercise regime reported weight loss within the first week of using the thermogenic, with continuous weight loss through the cycle.
