Redline is manufactured by VPX Sports Nutrition, an American nutritional supplement company founded in 1993. The company carries a number of products, including protein supplements, libido enhancers and amino acid supplements. VPX notes that its product may cost a little more, but insists that consumers will get what they pay for.VPX was one of several companies warned by the FDA in 2003 to cease using ephedrine in its products.
Redline is marketed as a thermogenic product that stimulates fat loss through shivering and sweating. According to VPX, the body's shivering response burns large amounts of stored fat in an effort to keep the body warm. That process, combined with sweating, is believed to provide quick results.VPX claims that consumers will get guaranteed results within five minutes of using Redline, as it flows through the bloodstream.
Begin by taking one to two capsules or a half can of liquid daily. Never consume more than six capsules in one day. Consume Redline with food before a workout, or combine with a protein drink to prevent muscle breakdown.
Caffeine, glyceryl monoleate, Evoburn, N-acetyl-L-tyrosine, guggulsterone E and Z, green tea, 5HTP, cAMP, vinpocetine and yohimbine HCL.
In late 2005, VPX received a cease and desist letter from the makers of Red Bull, for using excessively similar packaging for Redline. Red Bull also accused VPX of making false advertising claims and in response, VPX turned around and sued Red Bull.
$30 to $70 for 120 capsules
Reviews of Redline have been mixed. Some consumers who tried either the liquid or the capsules experienced extreme side effects, ranging from nausea to convulsions. One user reportedly blacked out. Some consumers who had used products containing ephedra, and wanted a potent ephedra-free thermogenic, were pleased with the burst of energy this product gave them. Many users commented on Redline's drug-like effect.
